Are you driven by working in a children’s charity that provides support to children and young people in London through their most difficult times?
The charity is seeking to recruit a Deputy Head of Legal to provide maternity cover for 12 months and the successful candidate will report to the General Counsel.
The charity supports young people by offering emotional health and support.
The role will be a combination of:
- Understanding, knowledge and experience in corporate transactions, advising on employment (including disciplinary and grievances) matters and on commercial contracts.
- Responsibility for chairing policy review board – looking at all organisation policies to ensure they are compliant.
- Responsibility for serious incident reporting group – primarily concerned with regulatory reporting.
The legal team works on a hybrid basis, with 1 day a week required in their London office.

Please note that charity-related experience and knowledge of fundraising regulatory matters would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
