Within their corporate team sits their specialist Energy & Infrastructure group, and due to increased client demand an opportunity has arisen for a mid-level associate to join the group.
Clients include leading power and infrastructure players, banks, sponsors and governmental bodies, and this team regularly advises businesses which are reshaping, restructuring and expanding into the world’s established and emerging markets. Most of the work is complex and cross-border, and in this team you will be exposed to some of the highest profile corporate infrastructure deals which are shaping the modern world.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
- Probably 2-4 years’ PQE, excellent academics. demonstrable experience of corporate/commercial transactions and/or projects and working with clients; and
- Experience in some or all of: Private M&A; other corporate transactions such as joint ventures; complex commercial contracts; project development; and utility sector regulation; and
- The aptitude to work on large, high profile and technically complicated transactions.
Power and/or infrastructure sector experience isn’t essential though would be a bonus, (and an interest in working in those sectors is important).
For solicitors with appropriate equivalent common-law experience based abroad, an excellent sponsorship and relocation package will also be available.
