We have direct instructions on this new role with an ambitious, growing and collegiate Caribbean law firm. Our client has strengths in various practice areas including corporate, capital markets and disputes. They are now seeking to grow their transactional/advisory practice further with the strategic hire of a capable England and Wales (or other Commonwealth-qualified) lawyer to act on a broad, interesting workload of corporate finance/banking/M&A matters.

As mentioned, the role will be broad-based, including cross-border M&A and corporate finance, joint ventures, general corporate matters, and banking/finance, as well as potentially some projects, regulatory, and capital markets work. Please note that proven experience in all of these areas is not needed.
We would be keen to hear from corporate or finance lawyers with a stable career history and experience in a rated City, West End or top-tier regional firm. If you have offshore firm experience this would be welcome but is not essential. You are likely to have between eight and twelve years’ PQE, although we will consider strong applicants just outside of this level.
