Our client is looking for a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join the highly regarded Corporate team in London, to focus on Corporate M&A and Venture Capital transactions within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, well-respected team and to advise on high value and strategically important projects within a supportive and collegiate environment.
In this role, you will work with companies at all stages of development, from early-stage pre-revenue biotechnology companies, through to listed PLCs, as well as investment funds and investment banks operating within the Life Sciences sector.
Recent work examples include advising:
- A global healthcare leader on its €1 billion acquisition of a pharmaceutical company;
- A leading services provider in viral challenge studies and laboratory services on its offer for that company received from a PLC (which constituted a reverse takeover);
- A UK company focussed on the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation on the closure of a £2m seed financing round.
The right candidate will have in-depth and specific knowledge and experience of M&A and VC work within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector, which will have been gained at a firm with a strong reputation in this area.
