We have direct instructions on this new role with an ambitious, growing and collegiate Caribbean law firm. Our client has strengths in various practice areas including corporate, capital markets and disputes. They are now seeking to grow their transactional/advisory practice further with the strategic hire of a capable England and Wales (or other Commonwealth-qualified) lawyer to act on a broad, interesting workload of corporate/M&A/banking matters.
This position offers excellent career prospects and full support and client contact opportunities to aid your development. As mentioned, the role will be broad-based, including cross-border M&A and corporate finance, joint ventures, general corporate matters, plus some banking/finance, as well as potentially some projects, regulatory, and capital markets work. Please note that experience in all of these areas is not needed. Experience in insurance and fintech will be valued but again is not essential.
We would be keen to hear from corporate or finance lawyers with a stable career history and experience in a rated City, West End or top-tier regional firm. If you have offshore firm experience this would be welcome but is not essential. You are likely to have between seven and ten years’ PQE although we will consider strong applicants just outside of this level.
This position offers a high City-level salary at low tax plus a comprehensive benefits package.
