We have been instructed on an incredible opportunity to join an economic entity that promotes new ventures in sectors of national importance based in Abu Dhabi.
The group manages and develops investments on behalf of the state of the UAE.
As General Counsel for a major subsidiary in the group, you will be working closely with the CEO to manage and develop the interests of the group in a key strategic role that holds a position of seniority. You must have at least 10 years’ PQE with an emphasis on corporate transactions whilst successful applicants will also ideally have in-house experience at a senior level obtained in the IT/tech sector.
The work is primarily corporate focused with a heavy emphasis on M&A and joint ventures in the tech sector. Experience of negotiating and drafting IT/tech contracts as well as handling strategic agreements for technology companies or groups would be useful.
You must be an English speaker and have qualified in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, or Singapore. The ability to also speak Arabic would also be preferred, although this is not essential and experience of working in the Gulf would be valued highly.

Remuneration – AED 50k – 60k pcm tax free / £120,000 – £140,000 tax free + benefits including schooling allowance for children, flight allowance, medical insurance, relocation package and bonus.
