Due to unprecedented growth within the global Corporate team, our client, an international firm, is looking for an associate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join the London Energy Group. This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading team seeking to expand.
The global Corporate law practice advises a range of clients, including some of the world’s largest corporations, on their most strategic transactions. The Global Energy Group is highly successful, acting on many of the most complex, strategic and high value energy and infrastructure transactions in both local and international markets. Within the Energy team, lawyers cover the full life cycle of a project, from development, financing and construction, to operation, revenue optimisation, trading, re-financing and M&A.
The team’s clients include significant international developers, sponsors, utilities, networks, funds, banks, corporates and industrials, oil & gas majors and government bodies.
You will be expected to play a leading role, drafting principal documents and being a key contact for clients and intermediaries. In addition to being able to demonstrate a high level of technical skill and competence, market knowledge, sector expertise and commerciality appropriate for your level of PQE, you will be able to build great relationships with colleagues in other practice groups and will be expected to have experience of and to continue to play your part in the development of the team by coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
