This opportunity will suit a lawyer with front-end or “in-project” construction experience – someone who enjoys helping clients manage risk, navigate variation claims, and keep complex projects moving. The focus is non-contentious, but a balanced background including advisory support on claims and contract administration will be valued.

The work:

You’ll advise on high-value projects involving both public and private sector clients – drafting and negotiating key project documents, managing variations, and working closely with project teams to deliver practical, commercially attuned solutions.

The ideal profile:

• 2–10 years’ PQE (gained in New Zealand, Australia or the UK), in construction, projects or infrastructure work.
• Front-end and/or project delivery experience, including variation claims or contract implementation.
• Strong drafting and advisory skills, with the confidence to work directly with sophisticated clients.
