Our instructing client, an award winning full service firm, has provided us with the details of a confidential role that has just landed on the market. We are one of only a few recruiters who are aware of this exciting opportunity to join a strong London construction team, at a firm which prioritises genuinely good work/life balance.
The firm is seeking to grow their construction department with an additional solicitor. While it sits within the larger property team, the construction team itself is small and tight knit, providing the right candidate plenty of responsibility and career progression opportunities! This role will be a mixture of contentious and non-contentious matters, so experience of both is preferred. However, it will be largely weighted towards non-contentious.
To be considered, you must:
- Be an experienced solicitor between 3 and 5 years’ PQE;
- Have a stable career history in good construction teams, ideally doing a combination of contentious and non-contentious work;
- Be confident drafting a range of construction documentation, including building contracts, bonds, parent company guarantees, collateral warranties and professional appointments;
- Have a record of business development activities, and be motivated to focus on building a client base;
- Have excellent communication and client relationship skills
