An exciting new opportunity as a Compliance Assistant has arisen with a modern Law Firm based in Guernsey. This is a great opportunity for early compliance professionals to be considered in joining the team. You will be working closely with the Money Laundering Compliance Officer and the Money Laundering Reporting Officer, in which you will receive training to unlock your full potential and develop a career within the firm. This role gives you the chance to experience island life, which can be supported by a sponsored 5-year permit, thus enabling you to be a part of a friendly and social team with deeply rooted community ties.
This role will entrust you with responsibility to:
- Ensure the firm complies with its Compliance and AML/CFT legal regulatory obligations.
- Ensure that the firm correctly completes any due diligence proceedings in a timely matter.
- Complete all tasks with a diligent level of care and skill.
- Ensure that business goals are continuously met.
Desirable experience:
Ideally, you will have obtained (or currently working towards) a Compliance or Financial Crime qualification.
