We are instructed by the Brussels office of a prestigious US Law firm, to find a mid-level Competition/Antitrust Associate to join their leading practice.
Our client’s practice covers the full range of Competition and Antitrust issues, with a focus on:
- Big-ticket and high-profile Merger Control filings and investigations
- Behavioural investigations and proceedings – cartels, abuse of dominance etc.
- FDI screening
They act for international corporations across a broad range of sectors but with an emphasis on Life Sciences, Tech, Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Financial Services.
You will be a mid-level EU Competition lawyer with experience and training gained at leading international law firms and institutions. You will have a strong record of academic achievement, ideally including a masters/LL.M. You will demonstrate intellectual rigour alongside solid commercial instincts.
Ideally, you will be a member of the Brussels Bar and/or another EU Member State. A strong command of English is essential, together with fluency in another European language. Experience of advising on UK competition matters would be an advantage.
