We are working closely with a legal solutions consultancy firm based in London, on their search for Commodities Trading Lawyers with 6+PQE who are available ASAP for a 6 month contract In-House.
Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the General Counsel and the trading team on contentious and non-contentious matters in the shipping and chartering sphere.
Candidates should ideally be available at short notice or immediately, and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- 6+PQE
- Relevant experience gained in a Regional, City, West End Firm or In-house
- A strong knowledge of the main legal areas relevant to physical commodities trading and standard terms and instruments
- Ability to draft
- Exposure to international civil and/or common law
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
The individual must be self-motivated and looking to work in-house in a hybrid way. This opportunity can be flexible, and the client will consider a 4-day working week for the right candidate.
