A prestigious global law firm is seeking a strong UK qualified lawyer to join its highly ranked Commercial Technology team in London. The Technology team is a core focus of the firm, and it is widely regarded for its innovative approach on a global scale. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team which is already firmly established in the technology sector, but is also prioritised as one of the firm’s key international areas of growth. Due to increased demand, the team is seeking an Associate to focus on complex technology outsourcing, cloud computing and FinTech matters. In particular, this may include a focus on cloud computing and outsourcing in financial services and healthcare. Experience of cloud computing or financial services outsourcing would be extremely beneficial to an application, but is not required.
To be considered, you must:
- Be between 3 and 6 years’ PQE, however there is flexibility around precise PQE levels depending on skills and experience;
- Have strong commercial technology experience, with exposure to technology, outsourcing and FinTech, either in-house or in private practice;
- Have an existing knowledge of, or strong desire to learn about, technologies such as cloud computing, distributed ledger technology, data protection and AI;
- Have experience of managing more junior team members;
- Be confident in leading client contact, and being proactive on business development matters.
