Our client is a leading international law firm, urgently seeking a senior commercial real estate associate to join their team on a 6-month FTC. The firm is recognised for its specialist focus on real estate, in which it provides a full suite of services including finance, corporate, dispute resolution, tax, employment and regulatory.
The core real estate team in London consists of 5 core partners and 10 assistants, with a wealth of experience in real estate, real estate finance, construction as well as expertise in specific disciplines such as planning, tax, environment and property related disputes. These lawyers complement the skills of our client’s highly respected finance and investment practices; and the real estate team’s proficiency ranges from investment sales and acquisitions to complex development, commercial landlord and tenant, real estate finance and closed-end fund transactions. Our client works with institutional funds, overseas funds, developers, occupiers, investors and lenders. Any experience advising similar clients within the real estate sector would be greatly valued.
The successful senior commercial real estate associate is likely to have at least 7 or more years’ relevant and high-quality post-qualification experience. They will have proven technical skills and the ability to be creative in real estate transactions. They must be dedicated, hard-working, able to work well within a team culture and prepared to take a very “hands on” approach. They must also be able to fit into the firm’s culture of being dynamic, enterprising, creative, cosmopolitan and hard working. The work is 5 days a week and can be completed fully remotely.
It is also likely that the successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor within England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for example) and have gained their post qualified experience within a leading International, City or West End firm.
