Our award-winning client is looking to offer the exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Associate to join their Commercial Litigation team in Plymouth, with a particular focus on banking litigation and receivership work. You will become a member of a highly regarded team and play a vital role in the development and forming of new client relationships.
Having experience in banking litigation and receivership work, you will have created a profile for yourself and be able to demonstrate the enthusiasm to develop this profile further. Becoming a part of a well-respected and friendly team will allow you to build strong networks and connections with clients. You will work closely with a range of clients, including high street banks, specialist lenders, and receivers. Working within a large team of 25 people, you will benefit from working alongside qualified specialists and from the support of both trainees and paralegals. Being a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to support the development of junior solicitors and enhance their skillset with your experience.
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE, with strong grounding in banking litigation and receivership work. Ideally, you will have experience in insolvency litigation, however this is not essential. Being highly motivated is important, with the ambition to progress and develop your career within a supportive environment. It will be expected that you have already created a presence in your local networks with an active interest in business development.
