London B&W house of parliament

Commercial Litigation Lawyer – 6-12 month FTC

Our client is a heavyweight litigation boutique in London that specialises in high-value and high-profile international commercial disputes and arbitrations. Due to the volume of work and growth plans, they are looking to bring on board a top tier commercial litigation lawyer for a contract of 6 to 12 months in duration. Contracts could be extended or lead to a permanent position, should this be desired by both parties, but this is not guaranteed.

Successful candidates can expect to work on premium, high-profile disputes, have strong levels of exposure and responsibility, and work closely with market-leading Partners.

The team works on disputes relating to (but not limited to) bribery and corruption, fraud, commercial contracts, shareholder disputes and banking disputes.

Candidates are likely to be qualified lawyers in England & Wales, Australia or New Zealand and possess upwards of 2 years’ PQE in high-value international disputes from leading City or International firms.

The firm operates a hybrid working policy. Ideally, candidates will be willing to spend between 1-3 days a week in their London office, although this is not set in stone and there is flexibility.

Whilst the firm cannot compete with US, Magic Circle or Silver Circle salaries, they can provide strong access to high-quality, high-value and high-profile disputes, strong levels of responsibility and client involvement, and the opportunity to work very closely with market-leading Partners within the team. Successful candidates will become an integral part of the team.

This is a superb opportunity to join a highly regarded, specialist, litigation firm.
