A well-regarded and forward-thinking UK law firm is actively looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join its London team. Our client is highly respected for its expertise in assisting start-ups, scale-ups, and expanding enterprises, providing a unique and streamlined approach to delivering professional services in this field.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, advising an exciting client base on a range of complex commercial matters.
This position will be 4 days per week, with 2-3 days of the week based out of the London office.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review
- Advising on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support client matters
- Supporting the management of client relationships and business development activities
Requirements:
- England & Wales qualified lawyer
- 7+ years PQE gained at a recognised commercial practice
- Experience of working in-house and/or on secondment
- Experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts (e.g., supply agreements, Ts&Cs, agency and distribution agreements, SaaS and other software agreements)
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy law
- Strong academic background and stable career record
