A reputable national law firm based in London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial IT Lawyer to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, advising high-profile clients on a range of complex commercial and IT matters.
Responsibilities:
- Advising both public and private sector clients on commercial and IT matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
- Drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts, including software licensing, development agreements, and SaaS agreements.
- Advising on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance and data transfer issues.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support client matters.
- Supporting the management of client relationships and business development activities.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years’ PQE gained at a recognised Commercial IT practice.
- Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial IT agreements.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy law.
- Strong academic background and stable career record.
- Experience with public sector clients would be ideal, but not mandatory.
