Business Development Manager

A full-service Kuwait-based law firm rated as one of the leading legal practices in the region is seeking for a Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Partners and Associates in driving business development initiatives to promote the firm, strengthen client relationships and develop business opportunities locally and abroad.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of experience, who has strong business acumen, and has worked in the legal or professional services sector.

The Role:

  • Developing and implementing strategic business development initiatives aimed at building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and acquiring new assignments.
  • Working closely with fee earners to develop individual client plans to deliver a service that meets all their needs, and identify areas of opportunity within each client account.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitors in the legal industry.
  • Collaborating with the wider team in developing marketing collaterals and creating compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and market insights to provide valuable advice to both clients and candidates.
  • Any other related ad hoc activities assigned by the Line Manager.

To Qualify:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Legal/Professional services firm.
  • Proven experience in preparing proposal (RFP) responses, pitch materials, presentations and other related materials.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and backgrounds.
  • Ability to effectively manage assigned workload, while delivering an accurate and high standard of work.
