Our client is a highly regarded and global law firm that is looking to expand its Banking & Finance department by hiring a Banking & Finance Professional Support Lawyer (PSL). The department is ranked as a leading practice within London and internationally.
The firm is seeking an experienced PSL to assist the Banking & Finance team in the areas of information management, research, training & development, and business development. This will involve working collaboratively with fee earners to offer your expertise and act as a sounding board to resolve challenging matters. The team’s expertise spans real estate finance, Islamic finance, and housing finance. Working with a variety of clients including UK and international lenders, challenger banks, overseas borrowers, and public authorities and associations.
The role will also include updating and renewing precedents to ensure they align with the firm’s brand as a market leader. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and devising training sessions for both internal and external clients and junior staff.
You will be provided with the tools and opportunities to support the Banking & Finance fee earners in the most effective way possible. This will enable the team to continue to prosper while maximizing the department’s output and supporting the firm’s clients.
The successful candidate will have 5 years PQE+ and experience as a Professional Support Lawyer from a reputable firm and in-depth knowledge of the real estate finance market is vital. It would be desirable to have some experience in debt capital markets or structured finance.
