Our client, a prestigious international law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate with corporate debt experience to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team based in London.
The role involves advising both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of financial matters, with a specific emphasis on corporate debt. This may encompass guidance on the diverse lending structures, combining bank debt, bonds, private placements, and other solutions to ensure transaction feasibility, providing advice on the evolving ESG standards, associated funding options, and strategies to incentivise borrowers, and offering clients guidance on the various factors and risks that can impact funding, from national security concerns to sanctions and pension schemes.
This position presents excellent and transparent career progression opportunities. Senior Associates within the team are expected to actively support the Partners in business development initiatives, and play a pivotal role in supervising and mentoring the junior Lawyers within the team.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of PQE gained at a reputable Finance practice in the UK. Prior corporate debt experience, a strong academic background, and a consistent career history are prerequisites for this role.
