We are looking to hire a specialist Legal Counsel to focus on regulatory financial services work for a role in Qatar.
The role involves working as a senior member of the legal team within one of the country’s leading regulatory bodies and involves a wide array of stimulating work. The main focus will be on advising on the interpretation and application of laws, regulations and rules relating to the operation of financial markets and the conduct of financial services business.
Applicants must be qualified as lawyers in the UK and have at least eight years’ PQE. This experience must have been gained whilst working for leading banks or finance houses in the City of London or whilst working for reputable law firms with clients of a similar high standing. As one of the most senior members of the legal team, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership and frequent training to more junior lawyers and staff.
