This is a top-tier team who continue to play a leading role in obtaining clearance for high-profile mergers, including the most contested. Be part of the development of antitrust jurisprudence with the resources of courtroom trial lawyers, former FTC and DOJ officials, and antitrust law professors and help define the core principles of takeover law.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for preparing and filing HSR forms; coordinating multinational competition filings; analyzing transactions for reportability under the HSR Act and foreign competition regimes; reviewing, drafting, and revising antitrust-related contract provisions in transaction agreements; advising on permissible pre-closing and pre-clearance activities; and assisting transactional attorneys at various stages of the HSR and competition filings process.
Candidates can be from a major law firm or a large corporation’s in-house legal team. Experience at the FTC or the Antitrust Division of the DOJ is a plus.
